Each spring, students in the Catholic elementary and middle schools of the Archdiocese of Hartford, which includes Corpus Christi School, take the Iowa Assessments (IA). This year, as in previous years, students at Corpus Christi School did extremely well on all subtests of this battery - math, reading, language arts, science, and social studies.
The above chart indicates the Corpus Christi School average grade equivalents in Math and Language Arts (core areas). Students take IA in the eighth month (April) of each school year and should achieve minimally a grade equivalent score of the eighth month of whatever grade they are in. For example, third graders should score 3.8 (third grade, eighth month), fourth graders should score about a 4.8 (fourth grade, eighth month), and so on.
